Letter to God through the world

Dear God,

As I was driving to work this morning

Suddenly, there was a gushing of gratitude into my soul.

It dawned on me how good You have been to me, God:

The quietness in my life is as the stillness of the night;

The greenery of my days is as the fields of Wales;

The vastness of my dreams is as the desert of the Sahara;

The boldness of my spirit is as David before Goliath;

The grace in my steps is as Hadassah before King Ahasuerus;

So God, as I take my hand off the wheel and put it on my chin;

Please put your hand on the wheel as I gaze, smile, and enjoy the cruise.

Thank you, God.

With much gratitude,

Joan Selorm Michaels.
